PRP Intern

Maryland Wellness, LLCSalisbury, MD
Onsite

About The Position

The Personal Wellness Center in Salisbury is home to a multidisciplinary team serving children, adolescents, and families in the community. This internship is a direct pipeline into our Family Support Specialist (FSS) program — one of the most hands-on, community-based behavioral health roles we offer. Here at MD Wellness, we believe PRP is one of the programs that serve as our 'heartbeat', especially in our local communities! The PRP Intern role is designed for BSW students who are ready to apply classroom learning in a real clinical environment. You will work alongside licensed clinicians and program staff to support youth and families enrolled in Maryland Wellness's Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP), gaining direct experience in case management, behavioral intervention, family support, crisis de-escalation, and documentation. This is not a shadowing role. You will be an active contributor to the team from day one, with direct client contact, structured supervision, and the opportunity to develop the skills that translate directly into a full-time FSS or PRP Counselor career at graduation. This internship may satisfy BSW field placement requirements. Students are encouraged to confirm eligibility with their academic program coordinator.
