Requirements

Licensed to practise medicine in BC
Strong familiarity with the BC healthcare system, workflows, and physician community
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving digital health environment
Maintain professionalism as outlined by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
Demonstrate strong knowledge of the BC medical landscape and virtual care environment
Maintain clear records of recommendations and decisions
Handle all confidential company and patient information with discretion

Nice To Haves

Experience in medical leadership, administration, or business is an asset
Knowledge of Rocket Doctor’s EMR, platform extensions, and applicable privacy regulations in Canada and the United States (HIPAA, PHIPA, PIPEDA) is considered an asset

Responsibilities

Grow and Strengthen BC’s Physician Presence by supporting recruitment, onboarding, and retention of BC physicians.
Build a strong provincial physician community and encourage ongoing clinical engagement.
Support Provincial Operations & Quality by investigating and responding to concerns related to BC care.
Review and refine clinical workflows specific to BC to improve efficiency, compliance, and physician ease of practice.
Maintain close communication with practicing BC physicians, including active presence on Slack and participation in local meetings.
Serve as a clinical leader supporting the growth of BC’s virtual care presence.
Liaise with BC health authorities, organizations, and partners as appropriate.
Provide input on BC-specific product needs, regulatory considerations, and physician experience improvements.
Attend and contribute to MD Advisory meetings.
Support initial onboarding of new physicians across provinces as needed.
Partner with the product and operations teams on improvement initiatives.
Provide troubleshooting support on emerging physician issues across all provinces.
Assist with communications and strategic updates for physicians and Rocket Doctor staff.
Help coordinate physician meetings and engagement events across Canada.
