Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a physician practice setting managing provider schedules
• Previous experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with physician scheduling software (QGenda or similar preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent healthcare experience

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain comprehensive provider schedules across office and hospital locations
• Develop and distribute provider schedules at least six months in advance to ensure appropriate coverage
• Coordinate outpatient, inpatient, call, holiday, and vacation schedules while balancing productivity and efficiency
• Serve as a liaison between providers, operational leadership, and central scheduling teams
• Facilitate schedule changes and address urgent coverage needs in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure compliance with provider contracts, policies, and scheduling obligations
• Utilize physician scheduling systems (e.g., QGenda) and related tools to maintain accuracy
• Analyze scheduling and volume data to support operational decisions
