About The Position

Integrated Home Care Services (IHCS) provides integrated home-based care, including Durable Medical Equipment (DME), Respiratory, Home Health, and Home Infusion services. The Provider Relations Specialist contributes to team success by delivering customer service, administrative support, provider training, and project coordination across the full cycle of services related to coordination and billing. The role provides administrative support and coordinates associated documentation for DME and Home Health downstream providers across IHCS’s portfolio of business.

Requirements

• Associate degree and at least two years of work experience with a health plan payer, in health care, or in a related field involving Provider Network Development and/or Provider Relations; two years of experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge and understanding of managed care concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing requirements.
• Ability to handle conflict and diffuse confrontational situations.

• Effective interpersonal skills, including articulateness, diplomacy, and the ability to persuade and motivate others.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; attentive and empathetic listening.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Provide administrative support, provider training, and project coordination throughout the full cycle of services in coordination and billing.
• Provide Provider Relations administrative support for DME and Home Health downstream providers.
• Coordinate associated documentation for DME and Home Health downstream providers.
