Provider Partnerships Lead

recoursehealth.comSan Francisco, CA

About The Position

This role focuses on establishing and managing relationships with health systems and physician groups. The core of the job involves demonstrating the financial value of the company's Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) system to potential clients, who are often hospital CFOs or revenue cycle VPs. The system aims to help providers recover billions of dollars in healthcare payments determined by the IDR process, which is currently manual and fragmented. The company, Recourse, is backed by 25M Health and is building an intelligent system to streamline this process. The role requires navigating complex enterprise procurement cycles and expanding existing accounts. The ideal candidate will have a consultative approach, be comfortable with data, and understand the healthcare revenue cycle.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in enterprise healthcare sales, business development, or partnerships.
  • A track record closing six-figure ARR deals with 6 to 12 month cycles.
  • Direct experience selling to health systems, hospitals, or large physician groups.
  • You have personally been through hospital procurement and survived it.
  • Comfort with data and analytical tools. You build your own business cases.
  • Clear written communication. Your emails get replies from people who ignore most vendors.
  • A preference for small teams and early-stage chaos over mature org charts.
  • Sound judgment, commercial instinct, and ownership mindset are required.
  • Grit matters more than pedigree.

Nice To Haves

  • Revenue cycle, claims, payer contracting, or No Surprises Act exposure.

Responsibilities

  • Own new health system and physician group relationships from first contact through signature and expansion.
  • Run the full cycle: qualification, discovery, business case, procurement, and close.
  • Build the opportunity analysis for each prospect using public CMS data, so every first conversation starts with their actual numbers.
  • Navigate enterprise procurement: technical review, security assessment, BAA, MSA, and the committee that has to approve it.
  • Expand existing accounts from one facility to many, and from one service line to several.
  • Own a number. Pipeline, closed ARR, and the health of the relationships after signature.
  • Feed what you hear in the market back into product, because you'll hear it first.
  • Help shape how we position ourselves as the category matures.
