The Provider Contracting Lead Analyst will be responsible for leading ancillary provider and health system contract negotiations with oversight from a manager and senior teammate. This role involves performing detailed financial modeling and analysis related to provider contracts to meet or exceed planned timing and performance expectations. The analyst will efficiently leverage complex internal systems and processes to support provider contract administration. A key aspect of the role is using strong verbal and written communication to strengthen provider relationships and contribute as a valued member of the external facing relationship management team. The position requires establishing, developing, and maintaining relationships within an assigned market, cultivating relationships with both current and prospective providers, and building partnerships to support the local market strategy. Understanding the interrelationships and competitive landscape of providers in the geographic area, as well as the dynamics of provider networks, is crucial. The role supports strategic positioning for provider contracting, assists in the development of Commercial networks, and helps identify opportunities for greater value-orientation. Collaboration is essential, requiring close work with various internal teams including Provider Service, Provider Data Management, Fee Schedule Management, Regional Director, Legal, Network Analytics, Compliance, and Sales.
