Protein Conversion Cooker Operator
About The Position
The Protein Conversion Cooker Operator continuously monitors the 260 cooking process to ensure a quality product. The operator observes and enforces company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies; maintains a positive work atmosphere through effective and cooperative communication; recognizes and responds to incidents and safety risks; and consistently practices and reinforces safe work habits. The operator follows company policies and procedures and remains on the premises until the job is complete. The role includes monitoring feed rate, temperature, cooker level, discharge rate, presses, and centrifuge, boiler, and scrubber alarms. Other duties may be assigned. Employment is contingent on post-offer, pre-employment drug, alcohol, and background checks. New employees must document employment eligibility by the end of their third day of work.
Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor the 260 cooking process to ensure a quality product.
- Monitor feed rate, temperature, cooker level, discharge rate, presses, and centrifuge, boiler, and scrubber alarms.
- Observe and enforce company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating and working effectively and cooperatively with customers, clients, coworkers, and leadership teams.
- Recognize and act on incidents and safety risks.
- Practice and reinforce safe work habits throughout the organization.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Remain on the premises until the job is complete.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
