About The Position

The Protein Conversion Loadout Operator is responsible for loading all outgoing products at the Protein Conversion Facility in Douglas, Georgia. Duties also include inspecting trailers and tankers, faxing and copying documents and bills of lading (BOLs), keeping work areas clean, and performing equipment checks. The role requires climbing and working in confined spaces, and the operator must not be afraid of heights. Overtime and weekend work may be required as needed.

Requirements

• A valid Virginia driver's license.
• Ability to meet Pilgrims company vehicle driving requirements.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read gauges and record readings.
• Ability to work well independently.
• Excellent attendance, safety, and work record.
• Must not be afraid of heights.
• Ability and willingness to climb and work in confined spaces.
• Willingness to learn to drive a yard truck.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma preferred, but not required.
