Protein Conversion Cooker Operator
About The Position
The Protein Conversion Cooker Operator continuously monitors all aspects of the 260 cooking process to ensure a quality product. The operator observes and enforces company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies; communicates and acts cooperatively with customers, clients, coworkers, and leadership teams; and recognizes and responds to incidents and safety risks. The operator consistently practices and promotes safe work habits, follows company policies and procedures, and remains on the premises until the job is complete. Duties may include other tasks as assigned. Pilgrim’s is a global food company with more than 62,000 team members worldwide. Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor the 260 cooking process to ensure product quality.
- Monitor feed rate, temperature, cooker level, discharge rate, presses, and centrifuge, boiler, and scrubber alarms.
- Observe and enforce company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies.
- Recognize and act on incidents and safety risks; practice and promote safe work habits.
- Communicate and work cooperatively with customers, clients, coworkers, and leadership teams.
- Follow company policies and procedures and remain on the premises until the job is complete.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
