The Protection Product Data Entry role is based in Sherwood Park, AB, and is an on-site position responsible for registering a high volume of ancillary certificates received from dealerships with accuracy and compliance. This fast-paced role requires a keen eye for detail and involves identifying and escalating problem certificates, verifying void certificates, managing bad scans, communicating with Account Managers regarding deficiencies, and supporting daily administrative operations. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) is required.
  • Keyboarding 40+ words per minute is required.
  • Fluent in English with proven competencies in verbal and written communication is required.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check, education verification and employment reference checks is required before employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in AS400, is an asset.
  • Fluent in French with proven competencies in verbal and written communication is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Registering all Ancillary and Mechanical Breakdown certificates daily.
  • Recognizing and forwarding problem certificates to the respective Administration Department for issues such as certificates registered under business name only, unsigned certificates, manual changes to the certificates that are not initialed, effective date issues, confirmation of coverage letters needed, and previously remitted certificates.
  • Void certificate verification – ensuring certificates received and marked as void have been properly handled and filed.
  • Identifying bad copies of certificates in a batch, documenting comments in the certificate and filing the hard copy for our records.
  • Emailing Account Managers when large amounts of unsigned certificates are identified in a batch.
  • Other duties as required.
