About The Position

The Propulsion Base Software Low-Level Driver Engineer designs, develops, integrates, and validates low-level driver software for propulsion and electrified powertrain control modules. The role covers requirements analysis, software architecture, coding, integration, and verification, including developing hardware interface drivers, MCAL components, and complex device drivers for propulsion applications. The engineer configures and integrates AUTOSAR Basic Software modules, supports hardware-software integration and ECU hardware bring-up, and debugs integration issues using embedded and hardware debugging tools. The role also focuses on deterministic real-time performance, memory efficiency, and reliable peripheral operation on multicore microcontrollers. The engineer collaborates with hardware, systems, controls, and supplier teams; contributes to technical reviews and documentation; performs software verification and validation; and supports vehicle program milestones and production software releases. Development must align with applicable automotive standards and processes, including MISRA-C, ASPICE, and ISO 26262.
