About The Position

We are seeking an Owner-Operator with tractor-trailer experience for city operations, primarily in Quebec City and surrounding areas. This role involves approximately 80% city driving and 20% highway driving, with potential for occasional overnight stays in the truck. The driver will be responsible for assisting with loading and unloading.

Requirements

• Owner-Operator with 24 months tractor-trailer experience
• Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing, comprehension)
• Must have CP Rail and container experience
• Must be able to haul all commodities, including meat and alcohol
• Must be able to lift boxes weighing up to 50 lb.
• Tractor must be equipped with a DEF system
• Must have a valid Class 1/AZ license
• Reliable, flexible, and punctual
• Strong communication skills
• Values safety
• Registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading of freight
• Driving tractor-trailer within Quebec City and surrounding areas
• Assisting with loading and unloading
• Occasionally sleeping in the truck overnight
