DIALOG is seeking a Marketing & Proposal Specialist who can transform strategy into compelling narratives and complex requirements into clear, persuasive stories. This role is central to our pursuits, involving collaboration with marketing, leadership, and practitioners to create winning proposals that showcase our vision, expertise, and passion for design. The ideal candidate is energized by collaboration, meticulous about quality, and motivated by the impact of storytelling in city building and the built environment.

Requirements

  • University degree and five (5) + years of related experience in the AEC industry.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, with a proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities efficiently and effectively.
  • Confident and poised with strong interpersonal skills, passionate about quality and able to deliver in a high-performance environment, with multiple projects, stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Passionate about architecture, city building and design.
  • Advanced communications skills with a demonstrated ability in partnership-building.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Advanced proficiency in producing brand-aligned, eye-catching visuals for print and digital media (advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is an asset).
  • Excellent storytelling skills and ability to prepare compelling and complex proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Champion development and delivery of major proposals and business development materials.
  • Oversee and facilitate proposal delivery, research and kick-off to interview and close-out.
  • Work with marketing and practitioners to lead pursuit strategy and develop successful proposals.
  • Develop improved processes, systems and templates for the full pipeline, working closely with Marketing leadership.
  • Perform detailed analysis of RFP/RFQ documents and develop compelling narratives that demonstrate the value proposition.
  • Write non-technical portions of the proposal (cover letters, executive summaries, project descriptions, team qualifications, win themes).
  • Contribute to and maintain CRM.
  • Perform closeout activities ensuring lessons learned and debriefing process is initiated.
  • Review and edit content to ensure responsiveness, accuracy, and emphasis on compelling visual and written narrative.
