About The Position

As a Proposal Specialist (Sales Analyst) on the Employee Benefits team, you will manage the RFP (proposal) process for new business as well as existing/growing business through your blend of relationship management, customer service, and analytical skills. In addition to RFP management, your ability to build and maintain meaningful, effective relationships will be vital as you collaborate with internal and external customers (Sales Representatives, Brokers, Underwriters, and Employers) to provide the best possible outcome for all parties involved. The Sales Analyst will demonstrate core company values and brand in all interactions: professional negotiation, responsive communication, daily check-ins, scheduled meetings, etc. In this highly visible role, you will have the opportunity to shine and showcase your blend of applicable skills and experiences. Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Group Employee Benefits Products
  • Underwriting guidelines
  • Salesforce CRM is preferred
  • Life and Disability insurance license for all states within office’s assigned territory will be required

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate RFP risks for amendments & new groups
  • Negotiate pricing, rate competitiveness, and product enhancements
  • Analyze all RFP documents for underwriting feasibility, experience evaluation, and proposal accuracy
  • Administer re-quotes and corrections
  • Manage Salesforce data input, stage updates, document uploads, reports, probability, and pipeline
