About The Position

The Property Technology Operations Engineer is essential to maintaining reliable and high-performing technology systems across the property. In this role, you will diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, troubleshoot network connectivity challenges at the endpoint level, and provide hands-on, on-site support for both new and existing systems. You will play a key part in day-to-day operations by managing and resolving ServiceNow tickets, enhancing workflows, and developing clear, up-to-date documentation that supports continuous improvement. This position also involves providing field support for system hardware, software, PCs, and IP networking infrastructure at assigned locations. This role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver who is passionate about delivering seamless technology experiences and ensuring operational excellence across all systems.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in cross domain Information technology experience, including endpoint, server, network & WiFi, mobile device, and application support

Responsibilities

  • Providing walk up services for employees who need assistance with technology hardware and software.
  • Educating employees on how to use their devices and applications and initiate the support process on their behalf.
  • Personalizing employee interactions and ensure they have all the information they need to understand what to expect next.
  • Advocating on behalf of your customers throughout the support process.
  • Requesting feedback from employees on their experience throughout the support process through surveys and feedback forms.
  • Providing Break-Fix hardware/software issues on company supported devices.
  • Support & troubleshooting for end user computers, network, WiFi, mobile devices, and applications.
  • Investigating user access issues and ensuring an overall smooth user experience.
  • Assisting senior engineers with patching and cross-connects, troubleshooting network issues, setting up and maintaining network hardware, and ensuring network reliability.
  • Providing support for events and temporary technology setups if assigned.
  • Ensuring and enforcing asset management practices to ensure effective use of technology resources.
  • Preparing and distributing hardware devices to employees and ensure proper location updates are committed to Service Now.
  • Track work time, update ticket status and resolutions in ServiceNow ticketing system.
