This role involves protecting company assets and addressing guest service needs. The technician will exchange information with other employees using electronic devices and develop positive working relationships. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to computer software, systems, internet access, hardware, and peripheral equipment. This includes responding to program error messages, entering commands, inspecting and testing computer equipment, maintaining inventory, supporting server systems and software, providing network communications support, and upgrading hardware, software, and website technical architecture. The role also involves performing system backups, providing end-user support, managing user accounts (setup, removal, password resets), installing and configuring workstations, modifying workstations (cables, desktops, laptops, docking stations, printers), diagnosing problems, securing backup tapes and computer/telephone rooms, and educating users on securing Personal Identifiable Information (PII). Physical requirements include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. The position also requires performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
