About The Position

American Landmark Apartments, an award-winning workplace for five consecutive years, is seeking an experienced and driven Property Manager for Emerson at Ford Park, a 280-unit residential community in Allen, TX. The Property Manager role is crucial to the company's success and involves overseeing property operations under the direction of the Regional Manager. This includes responsibilities such as due diligence, community acquisition/disposition, and participation in company committees and functions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years working in the apartment industry as a Property Manager
• Knowledge of RealPage/LRO and One-Site or similar systems is required
• Strong customer service experience required

Nice To Haves

• The Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) certification is highly recommended for this position.
• College degree helpful but not required
• Bi-lingual helps

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise office staff
• Daily physical inspections of the property
• Responsible for the property’s leasing
• Operating the property’s budget within the company’s financial guidelines
• Responsible for the interviewing, screening, and hiring of staff
• Prioritizing all resident requests with an efficient and courteous response
• Responsible for generating various company required reports
• Collaborative design and implementation of a resident retention program, i.e., a newsletter, resident referral program or social activities
• Responsible for securing at least 10% of the overall closed leases at the property
