About The Position
We are seeking a Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our apartment community. The ideal candidate will have prior apartment management experience and a strong understanding of resident relations, leasing, and compliance. Experience with Section 8/HUD housing programs is highly preferred.
Requirements
- Previous apartment property management experience required
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently
- Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- Section 8/HUD experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage daily property and office operations
- Process applications, leases, recertifications, and resident paperwork
- Ensure compliance with Section 8/HUD regulations and company policies
- Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up on work orders
- Communicate with residents and promptly address concerns
- Maintain accurate resident files and property records
- Assist with occupancy goals, move-ins, and move-outs
- Collaborate with regional management to support smooth property operations
