About The Position

WE�RE HIRING: Property Manager Location: Puyallup, WA (onsite) Full-Time | Pay: $30-33/hr DOE Are you a hands-on problem solver with a knack for fixing things and a passion for keeping everything running smoothly? We are seeking an organized, customer-focused, and motivated Property Manager to oversee two apartment communities totaling 76 units. The properties are conveniently located within one mile of each other, allowing for efficient management and oversight of both communities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and operational skills, with the ability to deliver exceptional resident experiences while ensuring the properties are maintained to the highest standards. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in property or community management (multi-site experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Fair Housing and Washington State landlord-tenant laws.
  • Proficiency in property management software such as Entrata, AppFolio, Yardi, or similar.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail across sites.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across all three properties, ensuring smooth leasing, maintenance, and resident relations.
  • Manage all advertising, marketing, and outreach efforts to maintain high occupancy and strong community visibility.
  • Conduct market surveys and stay informed on local rental trends to maintain competitive pricing and positioning.
  • Handle leasing processes: follow up with leads, schedule and conduct tours, process applications, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws.
  • Maintain accurate and complete resident files, lease documents, and accounting records.
  • Process invoices, manage budgets, and prepare financial reports accurately and on time.
  • Supervise and schedule maintenance staff, conduct property inspections, and ensure timely completion of work orders and unit turnovers.
  • Ensure bank deposits, reports, and payroll are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Foster positive resident relationships through clear communication and responsive service.
  • Represent ownership and the management company with professionalism and integrity at all times.
  • Provide property coverage during staff absences (vacation, sick, or personal time).
