About The Position

Clearview Recruitment are delighted to be working with our client, a well-established and highly regarded independent residential lettings specialist based in Clifton, Bristol (BS8). Known for providing a professional, high-quality service to landlords and tenants, the business offers a structured and supportive working environment with a strong focus on employee development and long-term careers. We are looking for an experienced Property Manager to take responsibility for a manageable portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with lettings or property management experience who is looking to progress their career within a professional, supportive environment.

Requirements

  • Ideally 12+ months' experience within lettings or property management
  • Strong understanding of residential lettings and tenancy management
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Proactive approach with the ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload
  • Confident and professional when dealing with landlords, tenants and contractors
  • Strong customer service skills and a genuine desire to do things properly
  • High attention to detail, particularly around compliance and administration
  • Full UK driving licence

Nice To Haves

  • ARLA/NAEA qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential
  • A genuine desire to develop and build a long-term career within property management

Responsibilities

  • Manage your own portfolio
  • Act as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants throughout the tenancy
  • Build and maintain strong, professional landlord and tenant relationships
  • Manage maintenance issues from initial report through to resolution
  • Liaise with and coordinate contractors to ensure works are completed efficiently
  • Arrange and carry out property inspections
  • Manage tenancy check-outs and deposit negotiations
  • Ensure all properties remain compliant with relevant legislation and safety requirements
  • Monitor and manage Gas Safety Certificates, EPCs, EICRs and other compliance requirements
  • Deal with day-to-day property management queries in a proactive and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all property management processes are completed to a high standard
  • Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to landlords and tenants
