Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, always ensuring a high level of service. Property Managers are also responsible for motivating high-performing teams to maximize the performance of the property. This role ensures the smooth running of our community in a fast-paced environment, overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. It also involves providing superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. The role requires developing, mentoring, leading, and managing a high-performing team, including leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel, to maximize engagement and minimize turnover. Driving revenues through thorough analysis of competition and development of creative marketing programs is also a key aspect. The Property Manager leads by example, instilling and modeling Cushman & Wakefield’s mission. They supervise day-to-day operations of the on-site team, ensuring policies and procedures are followed, and maintain an effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching. Maintaining a positive living environment for residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up, and managing the community budget and finances are also essential duties.
