Property Manager, Multifamily (Multi-Site)
About The Position
Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, always ensuring a high level of service. Property Managers are also responsible for motivating high-performing teams to maximize the performance of the property. This role ensures the smooth running of our community in a fast-paced environment. It oversees all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. The role provides superior customer service and communication to residents and prospects to enhance customer satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability. It also involves developing, mentoring, leading, and managing a high-performing, cohesive team, including leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel, in order to maximize their engagement and minimize turnover. Driving revenues with a thorough understanding and analysis of competition and development of creative marketing programs is key. The role leads by example, instilling, maintaining, and modeling Cushman & Wakefield’s mission to be the best national management company. It supervises the day-to-day operations of the entire on-site team, ensuring that all policies and procedures are being followed. Maintaining effective on-site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching team as necessary is also a responsibility. The role maintains residents' files in accordance with company's standards and a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow-up. Managing and maintaining all aspects of the overall community budget and finances, and working with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met are also essential duties.
Requirements
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills
- General office, bookkeeping and sales skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
- Determine leasing opportunities of staff and work on goal setting, improving the performance of each staff member.
- Supervise day-to-day operations of team, ensuring that all C&W policies and procedures are followed.
- Work with leasing staff to ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met.
- Be able to manage a team
- 3+ years of Property Management experience
- 3+ years of Management experience
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Real Estate License preferred.
Responsibilities

- Completing lease/renewal paperwork to ensure completion to company standards.
- Tracking and evaluating advertising, and all client traffic.
- Developing, mentoring, leading, and managing a high-performing, cohesive team, including leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel, in order to maximize their engagement and minimize turnover.
