About The Position

Hilltop Mobile Village is seeking a dependable, motivated, and maintenance-minded individual to join their team as a Property Maintenance Specialist. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and maintaining the appearance and functionality of homes, equipment, and the community. The position offers variety and the opportunity to work both indoors and outdoors, avoiding a desk-bound role. The company is looking for candidates with 1-3 years of prior experience in general home repairs.

Requirements

1-3 years of prior experience in general home repairs.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
Strong work ethic and pride in doing things right.
Dependable, responsible, and willing to get things done.
Enjoys working with their hands and fixing things.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and time-management skills.
Attention to detail.
Willingness to learn new skills.
Ability to use a smartphone for basic data entry.
Basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry/general home repairs experience.
Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (truck/work van preferred).
Willingness to be on call for occasional after-hour emergency nights.
Less than a 30-minute commute.
Must have own set of basic tools.

Responsibilities

Fix and repair basic tenant issues, including sheetrock, painting, flooring, doors, and fixtures.
Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
Assist in maintaining mobile homes, including occasional roofing and exterior repairs.
Conduct outdoor maintenance such as power washing, outdoor painting, community upkeep, roofing, and equipment maintenance.
Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in working order and reporting needs.
Troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions.
Document work using a smartphone for completed work and maintenance logs.
Participate in weekly safety meetings and adhere to safe work practices.
Assist with various tasks as needed within the team.
