Requirements

1-3 years prior experience in property maintenance or similar role.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
Strong work ethic and pride in doing things right.
Dependable, responsible, and willing to get things done.
Enjoys working with hands and fixing things.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and time-management skills.
Attention to detail.
Willingness to learn new skills.
Ability to use a smartphone for basic data entry.
Basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry/general home repairs experience.
Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (truck/work van preferred).
Willingness to be on call for occasional after-hour emergency nights.
Commute of less than 30 minutes.

Responsibilities

Fix and repair basic tenant repairs, including sheetrock, painting, flooring, doors, and fixtures.
Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
Maintain mobile homes, including occasional roofing and exterior repairs.
Perform outdoor tasks such as power washing, outdoor painting, community upkeep, roofing, and equipment maintenance.
Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in working order and reporting needs.
Troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions.
Document completed work and maintenance logs using a smartphone.
Participate in weekly safety meetings and follow safe work practices.
Assist with various tasks as needed within the team.
