Requirements

1-3 years of prior experience in maintenance or a similar role.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
Strong work ethic and pride in doing things right.
Dependable, responsible, and willing to get things done.
Enjoys working with hands and fixing things.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and time-management skills.
Attention to detail.
Willingness to learn new skills.
Proficiency in using a smartphone for basic data entry.
Experience with basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry/general home repairs.
Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (truck/work van preferred).
Less than a 30-minute commute to Lafayette, NJ.

Responsibilities

Fix and repair basic tenant issues, including carpentry (sheetrock, painting, flooring, doors, fixtures), plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
Maintain mobile homes, including occasional roofing and exterior repairs.
Perform outdoor maintenance such as power washing, outdoor painting, community upkeep, roofing, and equipment maintenance.
Keep tools and equipment in working order and report needs.
Troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions.
Document completed work and maintenance logs using a smartphone.
Follow safe work practices and participate in weekly safety meetings.
Assist with other tasks as needed within the team.
