About The Position
Mortgage companies and banks are required by law to document the occupancy and physical condition of all mortgaged loans. This role involves visiting properties to determine occupancy status and assess their physical condition. Property Inspectors use a mobile app to take photos and report on the property's condition, answering multiple-choice questions about its state. This is a 1099 contractor position.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must have dependable transportation (good gas mileage is a plus).
- Must have a smartphone (Android or iPhone).
- Must have a printer/scanner (or easy access to both).
- Must have a desktop/laptop or tablet to print forms.
Responsibilities
- Determine if a property is occupied or vacant.
- Rate the property as Good, Fair, or Poor.
- Take photos of the property using a smartphone.
- Fill out a form on a smartphone using a downloadable app.
- Answer multiple-choice questions about the property condition.
