Property Damage Claims Adjuster
About The Position
Primoris Services Corporation is seeking an experienced Property Damage Claims Adjuster to support its internal Risk Management team. This position is responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving a high volume of third-party property damage claims arising from construction, utility, and infrastructure operations throughout the United States. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience handling residential and commercial property damage claims for an insurance carrier, third-party administrator (TPA), independent adjusting firm, or self-insured organization. Candidates with experience handling construction-related property damage claims, utility line strikes, excavation losses, and infrastructure-related incidents are preferred.
Requirements
- 5+ years of property claims handling experience.
- Experience investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving property damage claims.
- Experience working for a construction company, insurance carrier, TPA, independent adjusting firm, or self-insured organization.
- Ability to independently manage a large caseload in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience handling construction-related property damage claims, utility line strikes, excavation losses, and infrastructure-related incidents are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume inventory of property damage claims from first notice through final resolution.
- Investigate residential and commercial property damage claims arising from construction, excavation, utility installation, and infrastructure activities.
- Determine liability and evaluate damages based on facts, documentation, inspections, contracts, and applicable laws.
- Coordinate investigations with field operations, project management, HSE personnel, insurance carriers, TPAs, legal counsel, and outside experts.
- Negotiate settlements within established authority levels and provide recommendations on higher-exposure claims.
- Support litigation management efforts and maintain accurate claim documentation.
