About The Position

Amentum is seeking a Property Custodian to join the JETSII contract, supporting NASA's largest engineering solutions provider. This role is crucial for enabling deep space exploration and benefiting people on Earth. The ideal candidate is passionate about human space exploration and understanding the universe, and eager to contribute creative ideas and diverse backgrounds to shape and deliver systems for space exploration.

Requirements

Typically requires a HS Diploma or its equivalent.
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time).
May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).
Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.

Responsibilities

Process JSC 290’s as they are related to shipments, etc.
Maintain accurate inventory and location of ECN tagged items in the approved database
Perform physical annual inventory of tagged equipment
Process Complete JSC 892 Property Passes as needed
Excess material as required to maintain the work area in a neat, orderly, and safe manner.
Assist with property audits, both external and internal
Back up other property custodians as needed
Coordinate moves for your division as required
Move property for your division when needed
Perform related duties as required
