Property Custodian
About The Position
Amentum is NASA’s largest engineering solutions provider working together with NASA at centers across the United States. We have an exciting opportunity for a Property Custodian to join the JETSII contract! The Property Custodian will be responsible for processing property-related documentation, maintaining accurate inventory records, performing physical inventories, and assisting with property audits. This role also involves managing excess materials, coordinating moves, and backing up other property custodians. The position requires professional behavior, adherence to attendance policies, and the ability to work outside normal schedules as needed.
Requirements
- Typically requires a HS Diploma or its equivalent.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
Responsibilities
- Process JSC 290’s as they are related to shipments, etc.
- Maintain accurate inventory and location of ECN tagged items in the approved database
- Perform physical annual inventory of tagged equipment
- Process Complete JSC 892 Property Passes as needed
- Excess material as required to maintain the work area in a neat, orderly, and safe manner.
- Assist with property audits, both external and internal
- Back up other property custodians as needed
- Coordinate moves for your division as required
- Move property for your division when needed
- Perform related duties as required
