About The Position

National General, a part of The Allstate Corporation, is seeking a Property Claims Manager to join their Claims team, supporting the Farm & Agribusiness portfolio. This leadership role will oversee a team of adjusters handling property claims. The ideal candidate will possess strong property claims leadership experience, including managing adjuster performance, guiding complex claim decisions, and ensuring consistent, high-quality outcomes. This role supports claims involving farm properties, equipment, and related exposures, and works closely with adjusters, agents, and customers to deliver timely and effective claim resolution. Responsibilities

  • Ensures understanding of business objectives, results, processes, etc. with their direct reports
  • Fosters a collaborative environment that inspires and motivates many employees
  • Develops and directs business unit action plans
  • Manages and resolves escalated customer communications, concerns, conflicts or issues
  • Accountable for human resources duties, including resource management, hiring, performance management, talent development and compensation planning
  • Responsible for complex claim decisions, identification of hiring, training, and succession planning opportunities, and the development and implementation of short- and long-term strategies and process improvements to achieve corporate financial outcomes
  • Analyzes results and contributes to the development of strategies and action plans to support the achievement of operational goals related to customer service, loss cost management, and expense controls
