About The Position

Langley Federal Credit Union is seeking a Full-Time Property Casualty Agent to work on-site at their Oyster Point office in Newport News, VA. This role is responsible for generating new business sales and managing renewal retention efforts to meet organizational goals. Requirements

High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or 2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of working experience/training.
Professional license in VA property and casualty insurance.

Responsibilities

Quotes, binds, and issues insurance policies to meet production requirements.
Cross sells additional insurance products and services to address client needs.
Initiates client reviews prior to renewal and provides alternatives to achieve and maintain agency retention goals.
Utilized agency management system to document sales and communication to clients and prospective clients.
