About The Position

Sutherland is hiring Property and Casualty Insurance Advisors who want to grow a fulfilling career centered around cultivating strong relationships. In this role, you’ll provide accurate and timely responses to a variety of calls that will include, but not be limited to travel insurance coverage questions and discover the root cause behind a caller’s interest in travel insurance and align their needs with the appropriate product.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Must be available M-F 9:30-7:15pm EST
Must have an active property and casualty or personal lines license
Proficiency in email, preferably MS Outlook is required
1 year of experience in a Call Center is required
1 year of experience in a Sales related role or a role with Sales aspects, is required
Must live and remain working in USA

Nice To Haves

Experience in the Insurance industry is preferred.
Experience in the Travel Industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide accurate and timely responses to a variety of calls.
Answer travel insurance coverage questions.
Discover the root cause behind a caller’s interest in travel insurance.
Align caller needs with the appropriate product.
Provide full attention and take time to understand the customer’s needs, asking clarifying questions as appropriate.
Communicate information in a clear and concise manner.
Resolve service issues and complaints, leveraging problem-solving and service skills to achieve an appropriate outcome promptly and effectively with a great deal of independence.
Assess customer needs, meet quality standards for services, and evaluate customer satisfaction.
