The position includes comprehensive initial training and regular ongoing training. New hires must attend two weeks of training in Dallas, Texas. Depending on the office or area, an adjuster or appraiser license may be required within 60 days of hire. The role requires a valid driver’s license and travel to customers’ homes. Candidates must be able to carry a 50-pound ladder and access a one- or two-story roof with a pitch up to 6/12. The position is based in the Raleigh, North Carolina area; the posting prefers candidates who live within 20 miles of Raleigh. It is unavailable to residents of California, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.
