Requirements

At least 1 year of accounting experience in a professional setting
Experience with month-end close (accruals, reconciliations, financial review)
Strong Excel skills, including formulas (VLOOKUP) and pivot tables
Experience managing financial reporting across multiple accounts, entities, or properties
Consistent and timely communication in a professional environment

Nice To Haves

Experience with Yardi Voyager or a similar ERP/accounting system
Background in property or real estate accounting
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Responsibilities

Own full-cycle accounting for an assigned portfolio of multifamily properties
Lead month-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and financial review
Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations with audit-ready support
Deliver timely, accurate financial reporting and partner with operations on results
Analyze financial performance and provide clear, actionable insights
Review revenue and expense activity for accuracy and proper coding
Collaborate across teams to resolve issues and improve processes
Stay responsive and communicate clearly with internal stakeholders
