About The Position

Responsible for all aspects of general ledger analysis and assist in budget preparation.

Requirements

  • BS in Accounting or related field with at least two years relevant experience.
  • Organized and excellent record keeping skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet all deadlines
  • Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Suite, Gmail and general ledger systems.
  • Must be willing to learn and use program-specific software
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Real Page accounting strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Record all month end accruals.
  • Provide detailed analysis of budget to actual variances for all revenues and expense accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Reclassify miscoded transactions as needed.
  • Record general journal entries
  • Perform general ledger reconciliation and analysis of various accounts.
  • Perform other general ledger reconciliation and analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial reporting package.
  • Assist in budget preparation.
  • Assist in special projects.
  • Prepare daily cash report
  • Work with the Housing Finance Manager to ensure that mortgage, excess income, replacement reserve, and service coordinator transfers are completed in a timely manner.
  • Assist Housing Finance Manager with the monthly reporting package.
  • Other duties as required.
