About The Position

Superior Plus Propane is seeking an experienced Service Technician to provide propane service and install tanks. The role includes identifying and correcting leaks, responding to customer emergencies, maintaining and inspecting tanks, and making repairs at customer locations. The technician may be cross-trained to assist with bobtail propane deliveries as needed and will communicate proactively with internal teams and customers. Requirements

• 2–3 years of propane gas/oil service experience preferred; HVAC experience is also noted.
• High school diploma or General Education Degree.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• CDL Class A or B with Hazmat/Tanker endorsement preferred.
• Propane Delivery License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide propane service and install tanks.
• Identify and correct leaks from the tank to the equipment connection.
• Respond to customer emergencies as needed.
• Rotate on-call status during evenings and weekends as needed.
• Maintain spare tanks at plants in preparation for putting them into service.
• Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
• Cross-train to assist with bobtail truck propane deliveries as needed.
• Communicate proactively with the Service Manager, CSC Manager, Dispatcher, Sales representatives, drivers, and customers as necessary.
