About The Position

AGRILAND FS is seeking a self-starting, dependable, mechanically inclined individual who enjoys outdoor work. The Propane Service Specialist safely and efficiently installs and services propane systems, maintains and repairs tanks, delivers and removes propane storage tanks, and supports inventory and facility operations. The role involves working outdoors in a variety of extreme weather conditions and serving customers.

Requirements

Be able to obtain a CDL with Hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements.
Have excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Have a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently outdoors in a variety of extreme weather conditions.
Have good organizational and communication skills.
Have excellent customer service skills, demonstrating commitment and perseverance.
Be able to regularly lift over 75 pounds.
Be able to stand, sit, crawl, climb, and reach difficult areas as job demands.
Pass a background check and drug test.

Nice To Haves

Construction, plumbing, or heating experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Install new propane systems and service existing propane systems.
Install above- and below-ground propane plumbing to buildings.
Perform trenching.
Replace regulators and perform leak checks.
Set and maintain tanks.
Perform general tank maintenance and repairs to ensure safe operation.
Deliver and remove propane storage tanks.
Accurately bill for parts and service.
Assist with inventory control.
Work with the team to maintain equipment and the facility.
