About The Position

AGRILAND FS is seeking a self-starting, dependable, mechanically inclined individual who enjoys working outdoors. The Propane Service Specialist safely and efficiently installs and services propane systems, maintains and repairs tanks, and supports inventory, billing, equipment, and facility upkeep. The role requires working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and meeting physical demands such as lifting over 75 pounds and standing, sitting, crawling, climbing, and reaching in difficult areas.

Requirements

• Be able to obtain a CDL with Hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements.
• Demonstrate excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Have a strong work ethic and be a self-starter, with the ability to work outdoors in a variety of extreme weather conditions.
• Have good organizational and communication skills.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, commitment, and perseverance.
• Be able to regularly lift over 75 pounds.
• Be able to stand, sit, crawl, climb, and reach difficult areas as job demands.
• Pass a background check and drug test.

Nice To Haves

• Construction, plumbing, or heating experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install new propane systems and service existing propane systems.
• Install above- and below-ground propane plumbing to buildings.
• Perform trenching.
• Replace regulators and perform leak checks.
• Set and maintain propane tanks.
• Perform general tank maintenance and repairs to ensure safe operation.
• Deliver and remove propane storage tanks.
• Accurately bill for parts and service.
• Assist with inventory control.
• Work in a positive team environment to maintain equipment and facilities.
