About The Position

The Propane Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and promptly delivering propane to customers. The role involves transferring, loading, and unloading propane while providing exceptional customer service. Drivers are accountable for meeting high safety standards when handling and delivering propane, as well as conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance. The position may require overtime and on-call availability when business needs require it.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• CDL Class A or B.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• Ability to work overtime and be on call.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of delivery driver experience preferred.
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transfer, collect, load, and deliver propane to and from customer containers, including bulk trucks, tanks, and cylinders.
• Keep the vehicle clean and organized.
• Use available technology to monitor and track propane inventory transfers, tank levels, and container sizing; accurately record and print delivery tickets; and complete and submit daily driver reports when necessary.
• Maintain equipment to high safety standards and report mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager or Dispatcher.
• Conduct and, when applicable, document pre- and post-vehicle inspections, site inspections, and visual tank inspections.
• Coordinate frequently with the Dispatcher regarding routing and scheduling.
• Immediately notify the Dispatcher of product, customer, routing, scheduling, or safety issues and seek guidance on resolution.
• Work overtime when business needs require it.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
