About The Position

This role requires a high level of skill and determination, utilizing modern tools and procedures for exceptional maintenance on diesel and CNG trucks. The position operates in a repair/maintenance shop environment and may involve occasional Saturdays.

Requirements

• 2 years of relevant work experience
• A valid driver's license, with a clean driving record
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge working on propane
• Class B with hazmat license
• Must have own tools
• Must be able to do 2 weeks of training in Arizona

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
• Estimates time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
• Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
• Perform safety checks on vehicles.
• Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
• Assist senior Mechanics in the completion of project work.
• Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
