About The Position

The Food Collective Centre (FCC) is a student-run service focused on strengthening food systems within the McMaster and surrounding community. They provide various support resources accessible to students, alumni, staff, and community partners. This role is responsible for promoting FCC events to the McMaster community, creating promotional materials, and developing promotional plans in collaboration with the FCC Director, other executives, and Underground Media + Design. The Promotions Coordinator will work closely with the FCC Director and Events Coordinator to ensure effective event promotion.

Responsibilities

  • Promotion of Food Collective Centre events to the McMaster Community
  • Creation of promotional materials for FCC events
  • Creation of promotional plans for FCC events in partnership with the Food Collective Centre Director, other executives, and Underground Media + Design
  • Work closely with the Food Collective Centre Director and Events Coordinator to ensure effective promotion for all events
  • Maintain confidentiality of all individuals accessing Food Collective Centre services
  • Think creatively
  • Design and implement promotional campaigns
  • Maintain an appropriate and positive image of the MSU
