About The Position

The Promotions Coordinator will ensure the highest standards of customer service are maintained, assist in analyzing the results of casino promotions and suggest improvements, coordinate the purchasing process for promotional prizes, and disseminate information about promotions to appropriate departments. This role involves resolving guest inquiries, assisting in the smooth operation of promotional activities, and coordinating paperwork for promotional events. The coordinator will work closely with support departments involved in event execution, provide excellent guest service, and adhere to all established rules, regulations, and policies, including the Casino’s Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Professional attitude and demeanor.
  • Knowledge of inventory and control systems.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Mohican Nation Gaming License.
  • Must pass a background check and do a drug screening.
  • Flexibility to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work with diverse personalities and provide a positive attitude.
  • A willingness to enhance self-development and adapt to change.
  • Must be willing to travel.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance are required.
  • Must obtain a Wisconsin's driver's license within 30 days of employment if applicant has an out-of-state driver's license.
  • Must meet and maintain the eligibility to operate a personal or tribal vehicle under the driver acceptability guidelines as established by Mohican Insurance.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or related field preferred.
  • One (1) year of experience in marketing/advertising or event promotions preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the highest standards of customer service are maintained.
  • Maintain an acceptable attendance record.

  • Assist in analyzing the results of casino promotions and suggest improvements.
  • Access and update promotion systems as necessary.
  • Assist in proofing direct mail and collateral for accuracy.
  • Coordinate purchasing process for promotional prizes.
  • Disseminate information about promotions to appropriate departments.
  • Resolve guest inquiries via phone, letter, and email.
  • Assist in the smooth operation of promotional activities, including acting as an emcee.
  • Coordinate paperwork for promotional events.
  • Work closely with support departments involved in event execution.
  • Provide excellent guest service and flexible hours.
  • Adhere to all established rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Maintain compliance with workplace policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to the Casino’s Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
