About The Position

The On-Call Radio Promotions Assistant serves as an energetic ambassador for MIX 101.5, 99.9 The Fan, and 95.7 That Station at events and promotions. The role supports the setup, execution, and breakdown of live broadcasts and station events, and engages with listeners, clients, and the community professionally and enthusiastically. The position helps represent the station’s brand, ensure smooth event operations, create positive public experiences, and strengthen Capitol Broadcasting Company’s community connections. This is not a regularly scheduled position; hours are available only as needed.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift equipment and boxes weighing more than 25 pounds.
• Availability to work on call, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a brand ambassador at station events, live broadcasts, and community activities.
• Assist with event preparation, including loading, setup, breakdown, and transportation of promotional materials.
• Operate basic broadcasting equipment and provide on-site support during live promotions.
• Engage with the public, clients, and listeners in a professional and enthusiastic manner.
• Support promotional efforts through clerical tasks, photography, and updating social media accounts.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned that are reasonably related to the position’s responsibilities.
