About The Position

GDIT is seeking a Project/Task Supervisor to provide technical, administrative, and operational leadership for projects or tasks, including contract and subcontractor management. This role involves participating in the development of technical project plans, reports, schedules, and task orders. The supervisor may perform high-level technical services, conduct planning, and provide recommendations to clients. Responsibilities include coordinating risks, attending customer meetings, serving as a client liaison, interacting with vendors and stakeholders, coordinating contract deliverables, ensuring quality assurance, and maintaining current knowledge of relevant technology. The scope of this role specifically involves overseeing and supervising a small team focused on document digitization processes, ensuring quality and timely production according to established guidelines and schedules. The Project/Task Supervisor will direct and oversee the production/digital processing of a document archive and the receipt, tasking, tracking, and closure of tasks for the contract. This role also involves establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science OR 5+ years of related experience
  • Expert level of IT awareness
  • 7+ years of experience performing the more technical aspects of digitization, such as knowledge of the various equipment types
  • TS/SCI w/Poly security clearance
  • US Citizenship Required

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to Projects or task(s), including contract and subcontractor management
  • Participates in the development of technical project plans, reports, schedules and task order and administrative reporting
  • May perform high level technical services on assigned task(s)
  • Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload
  • Coordinates risks as needed for the contract and recommends mitigation/avoidance strategies
  • Attends customer meetings and may serve as client liaison
  • Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff and stakeholders
  • Coordinates development of contract deliverables and products
  • Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables and products
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
  • Lead/Manage/Support entry-level and Intermediate-level administrative assistants performing document digitization processes for the contract ensuring quality and timely production according to established guidelines and schedules.
  • Collaborate with the customer and team in planning sessions, team meetings, and other customer and internal GDIT sessions
  • Drive and Monitor progress on tasks, generate metrics to demonstrate accountability for meeting schedule deadlines and quality expectations; prepare periodic reports on action status and keep leadership aware of late, pending and new actions.
  • Utilize standard operating procedures and serve as facilitator for user requirements SOPs, training plans, and other documentation
