About The Position

Fuscoe Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Surveyor to support its San Diego office. The employee-owned civil engineering firm provides services in Survey & Mapping, Stormwater Management & Water Quality, and Geospatial Technology. This role supports land development projects and involves preparing and managing surveying and mapping work, coordinating with engineering Project Managers, and overseeing project budgets and schedules. The position offers a collaborative environment focused on mentorship, learning, innovation, and shared ownership.

Requirements

• Two years of general survey and mapping education and up to six years or more of experience, or an equivalent combination of college education and design experience in land boundary and titles.
• At least two years of independently solving complex mapping or engineering problems.
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in the State of California.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Motivation, curiosity, and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, oversee, and process subdivision maps, records of survey, ALTA surveys, lot line adjustments, legal descriptions, condominium plans, and other related subdivision and survey matters.
• Monitor project budgets and schedules, and coordinate with engineering Project Managers.
• Prepare project approaches, set up mapping projects, and execute mapping tasks.
