About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Project Support Specialist that will complete defined project related tasks in support of Viking Electric Project Managers. Develop and maintain client and partner relationships with external customers, representatives, and/or vendors through building trucks and providing high levels of service.

Requirements

Minimum education: High School Diploma/GED.
Minimum two years of office experience.
Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, internet navigation, and Adobe.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

Two years post high school education or equivalent experience desirable.

Responsibilities

Create and monitor preliminary status reports.
Accurately provide shipment schedules to ensure project timelines are upheld.
Request approval drawings from reps and/or compile into Viking Electric drawings, operation and maintenance documents based on project requirements, and assemble submittal drawing packages.
Assist in managing the percentage of completion reports and ensuring proper job closeout.
Assist with Direct Through Stock process according to customers’ expectations.
Work closely with DTS Specialists and warehouse associates to plan for material receipts, resolve problems, and coordinate deliveries.
Monitor digital tools and software to ensure accuracy and upload necessary project documents.
Preform customer returns and work with Project Managers to resolve defective and damaged product issues including freight claims.
