About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Support Analyst II to provide comprehensive project management, analytical, and operational support to the FBI's AAU division located at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will execute end-to-end analytical functions—including data collection, interviewing, data modeling, project testing, and performance measurement—to meet mission-critical project objectives. This position is performed on-site at Redstone Arsenal, AL. Regular on-site attendance is required to support customer and contract requirements. This position requires personnel to have an ACTIVE Top Secret Security (TS) Clearance. The selected candidate will work closely with senior analysts and team leads to support overall project goals. Depending on experience level, the analyst may work independently to contribute ideas, manage program reviews, handle training event requests, and collaborate with FBI staff to provide audit support.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination, data analysis, or administrative support; direct experience working within a federal procurement environment or with federal acquisition frameworks is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint, Excel (data sorting/importing), and familiarity with government procurement applications (e.g., EPAS, SHOP, UFMS, or similar agency-specific systems).
  • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Certifications (FAC-C, FAC-P/PM, FAC-COR) and basic federal contracting methodologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and instructional skills to train COs/CSs and guide the acquisition workforce through certification pipelines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail for reviewing contract file compliance, auditing signatures, and building data dashboards.
  • Must hold an active U.S. government Top Secret (TS) security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Review contract file documents from the Contract File Review Dashboard to ensure sufficiency and proper signature compliance.
  • Compile, analyze, and provide Quarterly and End-of-Year (EOY) data regarding contract file compliance.
  • Export Unified Financial Management System (UFMS) contract data, and import/sort this data into the SharePoint tracker for the contract file compliance dashboard on a quarterly basis.
  • Assist with various urgent or scheduled data calls (e.g., sole-source procurement data, etc.).
  • Obtain and organize contract files to support internal and external audits.
  • Advance requisitions from the SHOP application in the Electronic Procurement Automated System (EPAS) when contracting officers (COs) or contract specialists (CSs) request assistance.
  • Attend the weekly requisition review meetings on the FBINET secure network.
  • Provide direct support to COs and CSs by demonstrating how to create contract files, associate records, and link requisitions to contract files.
  • Perform project management functions for the FBI’s Acquisition Career Management (ACM) program.
  • Collaborate closely with the FBI’s Acquisition Career Manager (BACM) to define, implement, and plan project goals, timelines, schedules, and task allocations.
  • Monitor program progress, ensure all deliverables meet strict quality standards, and provide recurring status updates and issue-resolution reports to the BACM.
  • Advise the FBI Acquisition Workforce (AWF) on Federal Acquisition Certification (FAC) requirements for the Contracting (Professional), Program/Project Manager (P/PM), and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) programs.
  • Provide detailed, step-by-step guidance to workforce members, handle complex inquiries, and resolve AWF certification issues or complaints.
  • Manage and maintain the FBI’s official repositories of certified AWF members with active certifications.
  • Track individual progress, process repository updates, execute periodic data validation, and update distribution lists to ensure members receive critical training and certification renewal information.
  • Create comprehensive training slides and materials for contract file compliance training.
  • Manage Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and streamline training event requests.
  • Facilitate mentor/mentee matching initiatives within the acquisition division.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure seamless program operations.
