About The Position

The Project Supervisor leads a team providing landscape and grounds maintenance at various sites around San Diego. The role oversees, supervises, and manages the activities needed to fulfill contract requirements on assigned properties. The position includes supervising employees, providing job coaching, operating and maintaining groundskeeping tools and equipment, and managing equipment, tools, and supply inventory.

The position is based at 3030 Market St., San Diego, CA 92102. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The stated pay is $25–$26.

Requirements

• Ability to provide culturally appropriate job coaching using person-centered and standard training techniques to support employees in completing tasks according to guidelines and contract requirements.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools and equipment, including tractors, riding mowers, power edgers, blowers, chain saws, and trimmers.
• Experience managing inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain positive working relationships with customers, vendors, and employees.
• Skill in hand and machine maintenance.

• Proficiency in developing bids and proposals.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
