Requirements

• Bachelor degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a project scheduler or as a project manager with demonstrated scheduling experience and demonstrated project leadership
• Detailed oriented with the ability to collaborate on multiple projects simultaneously
• Bilingual French and English with excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project or equivalent project scheduling software (ex P6)
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
• An ability to track and organize information data and communications efficiently to ensure project issues are dealt with promptly and properly
• Ability to travel to customer’s job sites within Canada and the U.S

• PMP certification – an asset

Responsibilities

• Schedule Development: Develop baseline schedules, incorporate tasks, milestones, and dependencies with input from project managers and engineers
• Monitoring & Updates: Continuously track actual progress against the plan, identifying deviations and potential impacts
• Communication: Inform stakeholders, team members, and clients about schedule status, updates, and potential delays
• Risk Mitigation: Identify potential scheduling risks and facilitate solutions or remedial actions
• Coordination: Align activities across different departments and trades, ensuring resource availability
• Reporting: Provide progress reports and forecasts to management.
