About The Position

PMA is currently seeking multiple Project Schedulers for assignment with one of our transportation clients. This role will be a full onsite role in downtown New York City.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, transportation, construction, or project management.
Minimum 7 years of related experience in a large, multi-faceted organization.
Minimum 3 years of experience in: Design and construction.
Minimum 3 years of experience in: Project scheduling and CPM techniques.
Minimum 3 years of experience in: Construction methods and standards.
Knowledge of basic civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering principles.
Proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6; knowledge and familiarity with Cloud and/or EPPM version is helpful.
Strong project management and coordination skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule management for design, construction, and design-build projects.
Attending kickoff, design, construction, and project progress meetings.
Creating and maintaining project and program schedules through all phases.
Reviewing baseline schedules and monthly CPM updates.
Preparing Primavera schedule comparison reports, critical path/float path analysis, earned value reports, monthly delay reports, and schedule risk/mitigation analyses.
Reviewing logic ties, activity timelines, calendars, phasing, resources, histograms, costs, and deviations from baseline.
Conducting field visits for active construction projects.
Developing recovery/mitigation and hypothetical scenario schedules.
Developing scheduler/project controls training materials.
Producing work samples when requested.
